Bella is a freelance journalist, living in London, writing articles for women's magazines. When one magazine asks her to write a piece on swinging, she finds that her professional research has a profound impact upon her personal life. She has always had a rich fantasy life, dreaming of sex with strangers and experiences with multiple partners, but she believed that such matters were best kept firmly in the mind. When Bella interviews James for her article, he begins to challenge her to live out some of her fantasies.
